“ Local resident, one of mine and my partners favourite restaurants. Visited tonight (Friday) booked for 7:30. Place was packed when we arrived, but our table was ready. Place was loud and had a great atmosphere for a Friday night. Service great and food really fantastic as usual. My only bit of advise if going on a weekend is it will be very loud. But have a few drinks before you go and embrace it. Hard to be annoyed at a local independent restaurant for being absolutely packed. Happy to see the family doing well. ”
“ Had a lovely time here and would love to come back again. Delicious food and great service and decent prices. We all tried something new and didn't regret our choices and we sampled each other's as it was displayed on trays so everyone could do so. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Love Southport has some lovely restaurants and pubs. ”
“ Came on a Thursday 7pm time and it was rather busy but even so the staff were absolutely amazing. We booked to make sure as we had heard it gets incredibly busy. The food was served within time and oh my gosh every bit was just unreal!! We couldn’t get over how surreal it was. Highly recommend the lamb shank special as shown below. We will be coming back! The prices where also very reasonable ”

“ We was recommended to try the Great Himalayas Nepalese Restaurant whilst staying in Southport and we were not disappointed as the food was amazing. The curries are spot on as you'd expect and are complemented well with the poppadoms and dips. They have a nice selection of wines too so are a good place to go if you are celebrating a special occasion or if you would just like to have a lovely authentic meal. Waiting staff service is great as they bring wine out in buckets on ice without being asked if you ask for a bottle of wine which a lot of restaurants may not do and ask customers their preferences. The atmosphere was nice, relaxed, welcoming and friendly. Would definitely go again. ”

“ Second time coming here and the food does not disappoint! Wide variety of foods including an array of vegetarian options! I had a chicken biriyani, my mum who’s a pescatarian had the king prawn biriyani and my friend who’s a vegetarian had the vegetable biriyani. We were warned that the biriyanis themselves are abit spicy which they were but flavour wise was beautiful I shared the sweet naan and onion bhaji and those were stunning too! The staff are extremely friendly they make you feel at ease and informative about the food. Overall really lovely place to go for food! ”
